This poster was created to practice for mesh gradients and experiment with the rainbow ribbon.
Design Rationale
While scrolling through Pinterest, I saw a color palette and decided to create something with it.
I learned how to do the ribbon technique not too long ago and wanted to implement it again.
I also love utilizing the gradient mesh tool and wanted to try it with a weird shape; however, the shape ended up being a star. I like the odd cliff I created using the mesh tool.
Typography-wise, I wanted something more whimsical for the word "Magic" and something strong and bold for the word "No." I wanted them to be combative with each other.
I used the number 888 in the top right corner because, in angel numbers, it means "a sign of abundance, prosperity, and the universe aligning to bring you material rewards and blessings," which is pretty magical.
