This poster was created to practice for mesh gradients and experiment with the rainbow ribbon.
Design Rationale
While scrolling through Pinterest, I saw a color palette with these colors and felt inspired to design a poster and test out some of my techniques.
The techniques I wanted to exercise are the rainbow ribbon and using the mesh tool..
Typography-wise, I wanted something more whimsical for the word "Magic" and something strong and bold for the word "No." The juxtaposition of harsh "no" against the classy "risk" and "magic" added a touch of fun to the poster.
I used the number 888 in the top right corner because, in angel numbers, it means "a sign of abundance, prosperity, and the universe aligning to bring you material rewards and blessings," which is pretty magical.
