Hey! I'm Farah :)
I remember being 5 years old and watching my dad work in CorelDRAW. He working at a print shop and I would watch him on our computer in the living room designing greeting cards.
A few years later in midde school, I downloaded GIMP for the first time and taught myself. Not long after I found out how to get Photoshop.
Now, I'm a graphic designer with 3 years of professional experience.
I always knew my job would be "designing on the computer".
Education
I attended the University of Central Florida for my Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media: Web Design.
I recently graduated from Full Sail University with a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design with a 4.0.
However, I have been dabbling in graphic design since the late 2000s.
A little about me
My goal in life is to travel everywhere. There's nothing better for me than experiencing new cultures. I love to observe the designs of the new places I visit and compare them to how we approach design here. There's so much to learn!
I have a ton of hobbies, here are a few: I love to read, which is why my graduation pictures are at a local library. You can usually find me reading a book in a quiet corner. I also dabble in photography. I've done a few paid gigs, but it's mainly a hobby! I loved editing the photos more than taking them. I'm a huge New York Rangers and Orlando Solar Bears fan! I often catch Solar Bears games in my free time.
I'm a very curious person and I love to learn new things! I'm pretty adaptable and can usually figure things out on my own. I taught myself most of what I know about design and photography.
