Concept/project scope
The concept for this project was to create a visually compelling travel magazine spread centered around animals and wildlife experiences. The goal was to highlight the beauty, diversity, and emotional connection between travelers and animals, translating real-world encounters into an engaging editorial format.
The project scope included designing a multi-page magazine layout that integrates striking wildlife imagery with informative, easy-to-read content.
This project involved developing a cohesive visual system through typography, color palette, image treatment, and layout composition. The overall aim was to create a design that both informs and captivates readers, evoking a sense of curiosity, appreciation, and connection to the natural world
SOlution
The final design presents wildlife experiences through a clean, image-driven editorial layout that emphasizes both visual impact and readability. To capture the beauty and diversity of animals, I prioritized large, high-quality imagery as the focal point of each spread, allowing the visuals to immediately engage the viewer and convey a sense of connection to the natural world.
To support this, I developed a clear typographic hierarchy that guides the reader through the content without overwhelming the imagery. Headlines, subheadings, and body text were carefully styled and spaced to ensure a smooth reading experience while maintaining a modern travel magazine aesthetic.
A cohesive color palette was applied, drawing inspiration from natural tones found in wildlife environments to create harmony across the layout. Consistent image treatment and alignment helped unify the spreads, while a structured grid system ensured balance between text and visuals.
Overall, the solution delivers an editorial design that is both informative and visually immersive, capturing the essence of wildlife exploration while maintaining clarity, structure, and a strong visual narrative.
